Matthew McCoy is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Anthropology at the University of California, Los Angeles. He researches east Belfast’s interface areas. He is a co-founder, grant writer, and researcher for the BAP.
Frankie Quinn (MFA Ulster ‘18) is the founder and director of the Belfast Archive Project. Franke Quinn’s own photographic work has produced numerous books, international exhibitions, and newspaper features. Since stepping down as the director of the Red Bard Gallery in 2016, Frankie has been hard at work on preserving the heritage of Northern Ireland’s communities at the BAP. He is also currently at work on a new project documenting the peace walls in Northern Ireland.
